Principal-in-charge of compiling and producing <br /> compendium of permitting agencies, procedures, personnel, time <br /> lines, critical paths, and all relevant supporting information for <br /> use in defining all permitting activities necessary for pipeline <br /> construction in North-Central United States. <br /> • Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota. <br /> Mr. Bergstrom was the environmental project manager for Phase <br /> II construction of the convention center. Activities included <br /> direction of on-site staff to monitor contaminated soil excavation <br /> and safety of construction site personnel, acquisition of permits <br /> for disposal of hazardous waste, design and implementation of <br /> mitigation plans for unforseen conditions encountered during <br /> construction, and monitoring of contractor's compliance with <br /> mitigation plans. The total project cost was $500 million. <br /> LeHillier Superfund Site, UHillier, Minnesota. Duties <br /> included acting as site safety officer and developing site-specific <br /> site safety plan according to 29 CFR 1910.120 to provide for <br /> safety of construction workers on site. To implement plan and • <br /> monitor site safety conditions during construction, and to act as a <br /> liaison between regulatory agencies and construction project <br /> manager. <br />
