October 20& 21,200016:30HRS Carlos Avery Compound <br /> The Linwood Fire Department summoned assistance from any available fire department <br /> to assist their area departments in controlling a large wild land fire. Our department send <br /> crews each evening to mop up.fires extiquished by crews during the day. Our department <br /> was one of 56 departments providing aid during this historic fire incident. <br /> December 29, 2000 16:38HRS County Road C at Walnut <br /> An accident was reported at 29h and Anthony Lane involving a car and tanker truck. <br /> Upon our arrival we found the accident to be in the City of Roseville at County C and <br /> walnut. We found a van had broadsided a tanker truck causing a large leak of ethanol <br /> from the tank. Being extremely flammable and free lowing into the storm sewer,we <br /> initiated laying hand lines to protect personnel to go in to control the leak. We remained <br /> on the scene until eleven pm assisting with several mutual companies Roseville Fire. <br /> December 31,200011:21BM 4121 Stinson Columbia Heights <br /> As crews were returning from multiple medical calls,they monitored Columbia Heights <br /> fire receiving a call for a house fire on our border on Stinson. Our crew on Engine Eleven <br /> proceeded to the scene arriving ahead of Columbia Heights crews. Upon arrival crews <br /> found a.well-involved fire in a single-family residence. The fire was difficult as it was <br /> deeply seated in the.structure, in addition to having a large amount of snow around the <br /> home making it difficult to operate. The fire expended resources from Columbia Heights, <br /> St. Anthony,New Brighton,Brooklyn Center,Fridley, Coon Rapids and Roseville. Our <br /> personnel returned home at 16:30 HRS making it a long day. <br />
