• The Student Council is having a health day in March and they will <br /> have a speaker, on chemical health as part of the choices for students. , <br /> Evelyn distributed viewer's guide for the movie about the formation <br /> of MADD. Announcements about the program were put in the FOCUS this week. <br /> Announcements about alcohol awareness hours were distributed. Wilbur <br /> Mills, Ron Mager and Don Newcombe will be in Minneapolis speaking on alcohol <br /> use on March 12, April 23 and May 14 respectfully. <br /> Dave Bordwell met with us to discuss Parent Networking and the. breath- <br /> alizer. He commended our past efforts and encouraged us to increase efforts <br /> to educate adults in the responsible use of chemicals. He stated most adults <br /> are users, not chemical-dependent, and those users are in need of more aware- <br /> ness and understanding of their chemical use habits that' permeate the community <br /> and often serve as undesirable models to our youths. <br /> The meeting was adjourned to stamp and sort booklets for the health <br /> offices. <br /> The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 12th at 7:00. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Evelyn Holthus <br /> i <br />
