Mr. Childs had .distributed. copies of the September 4th letter from the <br /> 22 agency who provides the above -coverage which reported the misunderstan- • <br /> 23 ding - Transcontinental Insurance Company had related ' 'to the necessity <br /> 24 for the City to pass an ordinance au.thorizing .the naming of Mannings in <br /> 25 the" City' s liquor liability policy:- : The Manager said -he - had since <br /> 26 talked to the insurance company and convinced them a resolution would <br /> 27 accomplish the same objective of City approval of liability coverage <br /> 28 for Mannings ' -waitresses when they serve alcoholic beverages with. the <br /> 29 lunches. <br /> 30- The wording which the City -Attorney perceived should be included in the <br /> 31 . resolution was then read by Mr. - Childs, who asked for a motion which <br /> 32 would direct staff to prepare the resolution and at the same time would <br /> 33 enable Mannings to. go ahead with the -financing they needed to establish <br /> 34 an eating area in conjunction with the Stonehouse Bar. <br /> 35 Council Action <br /> 36 Motion'-:by Marks, seconded by Makowske to direct "staff to- prepare a <br /> 37 -resolution -which says -that "for purposes of City " liability when the <br /> 38 City "enters into an agreement .with their tenant in the Stonehouse, , that. <br /> 39 '. tenant must be named* as. an additional insured -on the .Ci.ty' s liquor <br /> 40 liability insurance pol-icy.
