Bathrooms which contain only a water closet and/or a handsink may
be ventilated by means -of an approved mechanical recirculating fan
or similar device designed to remove odors from the air.
Installation of a ductless exhaust fan equiped with a charcoal
filter which does not require direct venting to the exterior of
the house is acceptable.
48. Plumbing Fixtures : Must be in good repair (no cracked- ceramic
fixtures), installed properly, and not leaking. .
Anti-Siphon Ballcocks: Are required in all toilet tanks. The "CL" marking must be located -one- inch above
overflow tube in toilet tank, so as to prevent back siphonage of toilet
tank water back through the ballcock into the clean water supply.
Shut-off Valves: All watercloset tanks require a shut-off valve for
their water supply lines.
BEDROOMS
49.
