COMMUNICATION WITH CITY COUNCIL <br /> 6.1 Designate a Planning Commission member to the November 23 <br /> 2004 City Council Meeting. <br /> Chair Stromgren stated that Commissioner Gray would attend the <br /> City Council Meeting on November 23, 2004. <br /> VII. PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> 7.1 Robert Muir Company. 2600 and 2700 Blocks of 39th Avenue <br /> NE, Subdivide Property. <br /> Chair Stromgren opened the public hearing at 7:04 p.m. <br /> City Manager Mornson provided the Commission with a brief <br /> overview stating that this is a Public Hearing for a subdivision <br /> request, as well as preliminary and final plats for the Robert Muir <br /> Company, concerning the 2600 and 2700 Blocks of 39th Avenue <br /> Northeast. He indicated that a concept review was not held due to <br /> time constraints for the applicant. The applicant, Robert Muir <br /> Company, has submitted to the City, a subdivision request and an <br /> approval request for a preliminary and final plat. He explained that <br /> the reason for the subdivision request is so the subject properties <br /> can be separated as two distinct tax parcels. The evolution of the <br /> plan has resulted in two different uses for the building on Lot 1, <br /> Block 2 of the Silver Lake development. He stated that the URS <br /> letter included in their packet provides further detail and reviewed <br /> with the Commission. He stated that a public notice was published <br /> and sent to residents and businesses in the area noting that Staff <br /> did not receive any comments on the notice. He stated that this is a <br /> very basic request noting that representatives from the Robert Muir <br /> Company are present to answer any questions. <br /> Chair Stromgren asked Mr. Lindberg if there would be any other <br /> requests required. Mr. Lindberg stated that they have submitted all <br /> that is required and reviewed the requests with the Commission. <br /> Chair Stromgren clarified that the requests are driven by retail and <br /> property tax allocations. <br /> Chair Stromgren closed the public hearing at 7:10 p.m. <br /> Motion by Chair Stromgren, seconded by Commissioner Gray, to <br /> recommend approval of the subdivision preliminary and final plat <br /> request for 2600 and 2700 blocks of 39th Avenue Northeast <br /> Subdivision for purposes of properly portioning the tax payments for <br /> tenants and owners. <br /> Motion carried unanimously <br /> Chair Stromgren stated that City Council would consider this request <br /> at their November 23; 2004 Regular meeting. He suggested that the <br /> applicants be present to answer any questions the Council might <br /> have. <br /> VIII.
