C
•
November 12 , 1976
'O: PLANNINr, BOARD MEMBERS
ROM: JIM FORNELL, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Sroga Service Station
met with Mr. Sroga earlier this week and he reviewed his plans
o improve the appearance of his station at 3201 Stinson Boulevard.
e said he intended to extend the fenced area behind his station
o the south and east, as shown on the enclosed sketch. The south
ense line would line up with the south property line of his home
t 3204 Roosevelt; the east fence line would be alone the east eda_ e
f his service station property extended parallel with Stinson
oulevard to the south property line of his home . Some of the fenced
rea would encroach upon a City owned sewer utility easement in St.
nthony Boulevard, vacated but he is willing to remove the fence as
eeded. It would be almost impossible for him to fence a reasonable
rea for storage without encroaching on the easement due to the
rregular shape of the lot. The fencing on the south and east sides
ill be opaque slot board of a six foot height, minimum: '\ The north
nd east sides will be chain link for security reasons .
r. Sroaa also intends to sod. or seed the area tc, the south of the
fenced area, leaving only a small area for cars -ith leaking gas
tanks or oil leaks . All other vehicles except those being worked on
ould be stored in the fenced area. He also said he painted the
% station recently and will be making other minor future improvements
as his time and finances permit.
. JF/b j p
•
3
