CITY OF ST. ANTHONY • COUNCIL MINUTES September 13; 1983 The meeting was opened at 7: 37 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Sundland. Present for roll call: Marks, Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau, and Enrooth. Also present: David Childs , City Manager. Councilman .Enrooth requested -the. following modification of his state- ment on Page 6 of the August 23rd Council minutes "to reflect a less presumptious conjecture" on his -part. Page 6 , para. 4 : Change Lines 3 through 5 to read, "Councilman Enrooth told him he thought. any plan which had the tacit approval. of the neighbors would be given serious consideration .in getting the approval of both the Planning Commission. . . . . . " . Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Let.ourneau to approve as amended the minutes of the Council meeting held August 23 , 1983. • Motion carried unanimouusly." Motion by. Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to . grant a cigarette license to Penny Pincher Discount and a heating licenses to Designed .Air,.Conditioning of Minnetonka. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to grant a temporary 3. 2 beer license for consumption not sale to David Freund- and- Ed Fahr, 3009. andz3008 - 29th Avenue N.E. for a neighborhood picnic to be held at Silver Point Park from 1 :00 P.M. until 11 :00 P.M. September 17, 19.83. Voting on the motion: Aye : Letourneau, Enrooth, Sundland, and Ranallo. Nay : Marks . Motion carried. Mr. Childs reported the Council would be receiving a request from -Berger--Trans f er for-a-tem ora rI _beer permit for their- company- P icnic to: be.,: held from 5:00 P-:M., _to 8 :00 P.M. , October 18th. The general • consensus was that -the request, as. presented, should encounter no major opposition from the Council.
