ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> September 13; 1983 <br /> The meeting was opened at 7: 37 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led <br /> by Mayor Sundland. <br /> Present for roll call: Marks, Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau, and <br /> Enrooth. <br /> Also present: David Childs , City Manager. <br /> Councilman .Enrooth requested -the. following modification of his state- <br /> ment on Page 6 of the August 23rd Council minutes "to reflect a less <br /> presumptious conjecture" on his -part. <br /> Page 6 , para. 4 : Change Lines 3 through 5 to read, "Councilman Enrooth <br /> told him he thought. any plan which had the tacit <br /> approval. of the neighbors would be given serious <br /> consideration .in getting the approval of both the <br /> Planning Commission. . . . . . " . <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Let.ourneau to <br /> approve as amended the minutes of the Council meeting held August 23 , <br /> 1983. <br /> • Motion carried unanimouusly." <br /> Motion by. Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to . <br /> grant a cigarette license to Penny Pincher Discount and a heating <br /> licenses to Designed .Air,.Conditioning of Minnetonka. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> grant a temporary 3. 2 beer license for consumption not sale to David <br /> Freund- and- Ed Fahr, 3009. andz3008 - 29th Avenue N.E. for a neighborhood <br /> picnic to be held at Silver Point Park from 1 :00 P.M. until 11 :00 P.M. <br /> September 17, 19.83. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye : Letourneau, Enrooth, Sundland, and Ranallo. <br /> Nay : Marks . <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Childs reported the Council would be receiving a request from <br /> -Berger--Trans f er for-a-tem ora rI _beer permit for their- company- P icnic <br /> to: be.,: held from 5:00 P-:M., _to 8 :00 P.M. , October 18th. The general <br /> • consensus was that -the request, as. presented, should encounter no <br /> major opposition from the Council. <br />
