Childs, City Manager <br /> ------------------,--------------------------------------------,---------- <br /> SUMMARY -DISCUSSION OF- SUBJECT: This is a request from Donald R. and Betty Lou <br /> Evertz for a -.variance to allow construction of a 10' X 10' addition to the west <br /> side of their home at 2901 St. Anthony. Boulevard. The zoning ordinance requires a <br /> 30' front and 30' side yard setback on corner lots. The applicant did not attend <br /> the meeting and the Planning Commission denied the request. I learned later that <br /> the staff person handling the request did not adequately communicate to the appli- <br /> cant the importance of attending the hearing. Some misunderstanding existed in any <br /> case.
