-2- <br /> Software <br /> In investigating various systems, we have found that software costs <br /> range from about $8,000 (our low bid) to $24 ,000 and up. After <br /> considerable investigation, the police department recommends the low <br /> bid of CPSI for the LEADRS package at $7, 395 plus $300' for training <br /> and $740 for one year system maintenance. <br /> This item is in the 1989 budget, but the price is scheduled to <br /> increase this month. I recommend approval of the CPSI bid with <br /> the City to take delivery and make payment after January 1 , 1989. <br /> This will allow the funds to come from the 1989 budget without the <br /> additional cost of the proposed price increase. <br /> The remaining hardware items will be purchased in 1989 the largest <br /> single item remaining being the printer, which could range from $800 <br /> - $2,000, depending on our final decision about the printer <br /> configuration. <br /> • <br /> :cjk10.11.88 <br />
