JOYNES, CHAIRMAN <br /> MAMA GENERAL LABOR RELATIONS -COMMITTEE <br /> DATE: November 1, 1988 <br /> SUBJECT: LABOR RELATIONS SUBSCRIBER SERVICE <br /> The MAMA Committee on Labor Relations Subscriber Service Contracts <br /> recently renegotiated the agreement between the League of Minnesota <br /> Cities and Labor Relations Associates, Inc. for special subscriber <br /> services. As a result of those negotiations, the fee schedule will be <br /> increased for 1989-1990 by four percent as follows: <br /> Population Category 1988-1989 Fee 1989-1990 Fee <br /> Under 5,000 854 888 <br /> 5, 000 - 9,999 1 , 292 1 , 344 <br /> 10,000 - 14,999 1 ,819 1,892 <br /> • 15,000 - 19,999 2,411 2, 507 <br /> 20,000 - 29,999 3, 104 3,228 <br /> Over 30,000 3,880 4,035 <br /> Invoices and copies of the 1989-1990 agreement are being sent to all <br /> cities currently using the special subscriber services. Those MAMA <br /> cities not using the special subscriber services will receive a copy <br /> of this letter and copies of the 1989-1990 agreement. If a <br /> non-subscribing city wishes to use the special subscriber services, <br /> they may do so by remitting the appropriate fee to the League of <br /> Minnesota Cities, Labor Relations Subscriber Service. Population is <br /> based upon most recent Metropolitan Council population estimates. <br /> Remittance of the special subscriber fee should be forwarded to the <br /> League of Minnesota Cities no later than i.9arch 1 , 1989. <br /> Services provided by the Labor Relations Subscriber Service include : <br /> 1. General Membership Services <br /> This agreement provides for two types of labor relations <br /> services. The first is "general membership services" for <br /> cities that are members of the League of Minnesota Cities and <br /> Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. Each of these <br /> organizations contribute. an amount to the labor services fund <br /> on behalf of their respective membership.
