1. General Membership Services • <br /> (continued) <br /> articles in the League of Minnesota Cities Magazine; general <br /> advice and assistance by telephone or correspondence; one <br /> Personal conference; advice on arbitrator' s selection; and <br /> advice and assistance to the League of Minnesota Cities staff <br /> relating to proposed or adopted State and Federal <br /> legislation . The AMM services include meetings, telephone <br /> calls, review of proposals and counter-proposals with regard <br /> to the AMM members labor relations efforts, and general <br /> coordination of the metropolitan cities labor relations <br /> polls. <br /> 2. Special Subscriber Services <br /> The second part of the agreement provides for special <br /> subscriber services. The contract language emphasizes joint <br /> bargaining. The agreement also provides that the consultant <br /> (Labor Relations Associates, Inc. ) will advise subscribers in <br /> their individual negotiations, mediation and/or arbitration <br /> efforts. However, if Labor Relations Associates, Inc. staff <br /> is to be involved - in the attendance "or preparation for <br /> attendance at such individual efforts,. the individual <br /> subscriber will be billed accordingly. <br /> 3. Seminar on Labor Matters • <br /> This year , Labor Relations Associates will again provide a <br /> seminar on a labor issue mutually agreed on by Labor <br /> Relations Associates, Inc . , and the MAMA Board. The <br /> consultant will provide this seminar at his own cost, which <br /> should help to insure affordability. <br /> The ongoing administration of the agreement will be the primary <br /> responsibility of the Executive Director of the League of Minnesota <br /> Cities.
