"Co tl� <br /> �Il eC% <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> DATE: September 8, 1999 <br /> TO: Mayor and Councilmembers <br /> FROM: Michael Mornson, City Manager <br /> ITEM: CONSTRUCTION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT COUNTY ROAD D AND <br /> HIGHCREST ROAD <br /> The attached agreement and resolution relate to a Ramsey County project to construct traffic <br /> signals at County Road D and Highcrest Road. Ramsey County has submitted plans for Council <br /> approval and an agreement which requires approval by the Cities of New Brighton and Roseville as <br /> they will share in the cost of the project. This system will be interconnected to an existing system to <br /> the east at Old Highway 8 and includes emergency vehicle preemption. <br /> Costs <br /> Per the agreement, the total amount of the project is estimated to be $296,900.50. The Cities of New <br /> Brighton and Roseville are responsible for $15,688.00 each and the City of St. Anthony is responsible <br /> for $31,376.00. Costs to be borne by the City of St. Anthony will come from the City's MSA funds. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Recommend approval of the plans and agreement for the construction of traffic signals at County Road <br /> D and Highcrest Road as submitted by Ramsey County. <br /> r: <br />
