Any direction you could provide me with would be greatly <br /> appreciated. T would like to begin the process.as soon as passible, and would request that <br /> we be placed on the October Planning Comrnission agenda for concept review. <br /> Proiect Description <br /> Our project would involve the demolition of the existing Amoco gas station and car wash <br /> buildings, along with the combination of the approximately 265 easterly feet of the <br /> adjacent property owned by Ken Solie of Village Properties. We have binding purchase <br /> agreements signed with both BP-Amoco and Mr. Solie. <br /> A prel minmy site plan is enclosed that shows a 14,490 square foot Walgreens with a <br /> drive-thru phannacy.on the site. We would close the existing southerly access point on <br /> Silver Lake Road and provide much more separation between the two access points on <br /> 37th Avenue than what currently exists. Our plan provides for the required setbacks to <br /> the paved parking areas, and exceeds the rrliWMwn number of required parking stalls <br /> with a total of 74. Although not shown on this preliminary plan, we would of course be I " <br /> salvaging as many existing trees as possible, especially along the north side of the <br /> Property, and would be installing quality landscaping throughout the green spaces. <br /> The architectural design of the building is intended for areas such as this where <br /> residential properties are in close proximity.
