April 15, 2002 Honorable Mayor, City Council, and City Staff City of St. Anthony 3301 Silver Lake Road St. Anthony, MN 55418 RE: Engineer's Report for April 23, 2001 WSB Project No. 1065-01 Dear Honorable Mayor, City Council, and City Staff: This letter is intended to provide you with an update on the current status of projects that are ongoing within the village. Outlined below, please find a list of projects and the current status of each: I. Silver Lane Flood Improvements Feasibility Report A draft of the Silver Lane Flood Improvements Feasibility Report has been completed and is currently being reviewed with the City of New Brighton and the Rice Creek Watershed District. It is anticipated that this report will be presented to the City Council in May. II. 2001 Street Reconstruction and Harding Street Pond Project There are a number of remaining items to be completed in the 2001 Street Reconstruction project. These items include: • Driveway replacement on 30`h Avenue • Yard restoration on 30`h Avenue • Second lift of asphalt on Wilson Street, West Armor Terrace, and 30`h Avenue It is anticipated this work would be completed by the end of June 2002. III. 2002 Street Reconstruction Project The preconstruction meeting for the 2002 Street Reconstruction project with the 4150 Olson contractor and City representatives is scheduled for April 18`h. At this meeting the Memorial Highway contractor will provide the City with a schedule for the anticipated activities of the 2002 Street Reconstruction project. We anticipate this project starting at the Suite 300 beginnin�of May. The first construction newsletter will be sent out following the Minneapolis April 18` preconstruction meeting to all of the residents along the project.
