• Mr. Robert Galush -3- March 7, 1988
IMPACTS OF PROPOSED DRIVE-UP EXPANSION AND RECOMMENDED
IMPROVEMENTS
Twin City Federal 's plans to add two drive-up lanes and a
bypass lane to the existing drive-up will change traffic
conditions at the bank. The two additional lanes will
accommodate at least five vehicles each and will alleviate
the on-site traffic difficulties noted on Figure 1 . The
bypass lane will provide on-site circulation for drive-up
customers when the drive-up lanes are full .
To alleviate the customer parking which presently occurs "
along 39th Avenue, it is recommended that Twin City Federal
add three spaces along the east parking row and add eight
spaces immediately south of the building. This additional
parking will provide a total or 40 on-site spaces and is
expected to adequately meet the parking needs of the bank.
To resolve the existing difficulties due to vehicles parking
along the curb east of the building, it is recommended that
the drive aisle in this location be widened to provide three
drop-off/pick-up spaces on the east side of the building.
• These spaces should be signed and controlled for maximum
five minute drop-off/pick-up purposes, e.g. for ATM
customers. The recommended site plan improvements are
indicated on Figure 2.
