<br /> 3.333 (31) Rental Dwelling or Dwelling Unit: A dwelling or dwelling unit let for rent or
<br /> lease.
<br /> 3.333 (32) Rental Non-Residential Facility: A non-residential facility let for rent or lease.
<br /> 3.333 (33) Repair: To restore to a sound and acceptable state of operation, serviceability,
<br /> or appearance in the determination of the Director of Fire and Safety.
<br /> 3.333 (34) Rodent Harborage: Any place where rodents are liable to live, nest, or seek
<br /> shelter.
<br /> 3.333 (35) Rooming House. A building other than a hotel where, for compensation for
<br /> definite periods, lodging is provided for persons not of the principal family, but
<br /> not including a building providing this service for more than ten persons.
<br /> 3.333(36) Rooming Unit: Any room or group of rooms forming a single habitable unit used
<br /> or intended to be used for living and sleeping, but not for cooking and eating
<br /> purposes.
<br /> 3.333 (37) Rubbish: Nonputrescible solid wastes (excluding ashes) consisting of both
<br /> combustible and noncombustible wastes,such as paper,cardboard, tin cans,yard
<br /> clippings, wood, glass,brick,plaster,bedding,crockery, and similar materials.
<br /> 3.333(38) Safe: The condition of being reasonably free from danger and hazards which may
<br /> cause accidents or disease.
<br /> 3.333 (39) Ste: Any writing (including letters, words, or numerals), pictorial
<br /> - representation(including illustrations or decorations),emblem(including devices,
<br /> symbols, or trademarks), flag, banner, streamer, pennant, string of lights, or
<br /> display designed to attract the attention of the public, whether it be attached to a
<br /> structure, painted on, or in any other manner represented on a building or other
<br /> structure or on the ground.
<br /> 3-33300) Substandard Building: Any dwelling or non-residential facility,which does not
<br /> conform to the minimum standards established by the City Code.
<br /> 3-33301) Supplied: Paid for,furnished by,provided by,or under the control of the owner,
<br /> operator, or agent of a building or portion thereof.
<br /> 3.333 (42) Structure: Anything erected, the use of which requires more or less permanent
<br /> location on the ground;or attached to something having a permanent location on
<br /> the ground.
<br /> 3.333(43) Unsafe: As applied to a structure,a condition or combination of conditions liable
<br /> to be a danger or hazard to the life, safety, or health of persons occupying it or
<br /> frequenting it or of the public and in danger of settlement, movement,
<br /> • disintegration, combustion, or collapse, whether such danger arises from the
