The project replaces the existing Stonehouse restaurant, St. Anthony Village
liquors and the Fire Station along with some additional retail space.
The project is a 2-building scheme with the main building located approximately in the same location as
the existing center along the southern property line and a proposed restaurant building located at the
northern point of the site. The two buildings are designed to front to the three bordering streets and
wrap the comer. The restaurant building has been located to define the street comer and replace the
sea of asphalt that exists today. The parking has been located between the buildings to maximize the
efficiency of use and reduce the visual impact of asphalt on this prominent corner.
Access to the site will be direct off of Kenzie terrace or via the south frontage road along County Road
88.
The main building is to be a single story with 20,000 s.f. of retail space. The tenants will consist of a
new 9,000 s.f. municipal liquor store(to replace the existing SAV liquor on this site), with the balance of
the building to be a variety of smaller retail users yet to be determined.
The restaurant building will be a single story,6,000 s.f. sports bar&grill.
The Architecture of the two buildings will be primarily brick&stucco with a variety of facade elements to
give more interest to the building elevations and create,a smaller scale look and feel.
Building services will be primarily in the rear of the main retail building with the restaurant primarily
service off hours from the main parking area.
Trash will be accomModated by enclosures constructed of materials compatible with the buildings.
One enclosure per building.
Page 2 200 West Highway 13 Burnsville,MN 55337
