Dave Childs , Ray Nelson, Don Nicker- <br /> son, Larry Hamer, Lee Entner, Carol Johnson and -Connie Kroepl-in. wer.e <br /> present. <br /> The opening date for the new liquor warehouse will more realistically <br /> be November 14 , 15 , or 16 , rather than November 11th. Mr. Nelson <br /> indicated everything was being accomplished on schedule , however. He <br /> stated, so much. time and emphasis being generated towards the new <br /> warehouse has not adversely affected sales at the other two operations . <br /> He also mentioned the Apache store held a successful wine tasting <br /> ' event recently. <br /> With the retirement of Officer Protelsch forthcoming , the Police <br /> Department is in the process of searching for a replacement for that <br /> officer ' s position. Chief Hickerson told us Officer Schwalbach did, <br /> in fact, suffer a mild heart attack and presently is having tests <br /> which will aid in determining when he will be able to return to <br /> work. <br /> Larry Hamer had just returned from a meeting concerning public employees <br /> health insurance through Hennepin County . A lengthy discussion ensued <br /> on this topic . Single coverage (when spouse has coverage) and payments <br /> when both husband and wife are public employees were discussed. <br /> Mr. Hamer indicated Blue Cross/Blue Shield is no longer being offered <br /> by Hennepin County and those who are presently insured by that group <br /> are required to change to one of the three HMO's offered. Open enroll- <br /> ment is scheduled from November 10 to December 1 . PHP will increase <br /> 7% for 1984 and may establish a high/low plan. This plan would <br /> benefit those instrumentalities with lower numbers of major medical <br /> needs . <br /> Mr. Hamer told us Herman Weber is on the road to recovery from his <br /> surgery and Dick Kristyniak has returned to work after back problems <br /> suffered in latter spring. <br /> The new monthly financial format from Comsery is an improvement in most <br /> respects. Carol Johnson indicated a programmer will come to- explain <br /> the report in detail in the near- future. Mrs . Johnson also told us <br />
