Department when- such. apparatus • is actively responding ,to.-an <br /> emergency call. <br /> Section 350 : 60 . Address. Numbers Required On Buildings . Each <br /> owner of a building in the City shall cause the correct street <br /> or avenue number of the building to be -posted in a conspicuous <br /> i place both on the front and rear of the building in .-accordance <br /> with this section. <br /> (a) House numbers shall be in Arabic numerals of <br /> color contrasting to the building. <br /> a <br /> ( b) Each numeral shall be no less than 10 centimeters <br /> in, height and no less than 1 centimeter. in stroke <br /> width.- <br /> (c) A rear building posting shall not be required unless . <br /> an alley or other public access exists to the rear <br /> of the lot or parcel on which the building is <br /> located. <br /> (d ) Front numerals shall be posted on 'the building <br /> • surface nearest the street or avenue nearest the <br /> front of the building and shall be at a height <br /> and position such that the numerals can be easily <br /> read by a person of normal vision while seated in <br /> an emergency vehicle located in the street. <br /> ( e ) Rear numerals shall be posted on the building <br /> surface nearest the alley or other rear public <br /> access and shall be at a height and position such <br /> that the numerals can be easily read by a person <br /> of normal vision while seated in an emergency <br /> vehicle located in the alley or other rear access. <br /> Section 350 : 65. Balconies. No person shall set, kindle, <br /> maintain, or permit any fire or open flame on any balcony cf a <br /> multiple dwelling or .-apartment building in any barbecue, torch, <br /> or similar heating, cooking, burning, or lighting equipment, or <br /> device, except in dwellings of all masonry construction. <br /> Section 350: 70 Permits Required . No person . shall, without <br /> first making application- for (on forms provided from the City) , <br /> and obtaining, a permit, maintain, store or handle materials or <br /> conduct,- process or -install equipment when .a permit is req.uir.e.d <br /> by, the MUFC for any such activity. A fee, periodically <br /> determined- by- resolution of the City Council , shall be paid for <br /> each permit in accordance with the conditions set forth in the <br /> -5- <br />
