• MUFC:. All permits shall be -issued - for - a period of one year , but may be renewed annually if the applicant meets the requirements of the MUFC. The Office of Fire Marshall may revoke a permit or approval issued if any violation of the Code is found upon inspection, or if there has been any false statement or ,misrepresentation as to a material fact in the application or plans -on which the permit or approval was granted. Section 350 : 75. Appeals. If the Fire Marshal disapproves an . application or refuses to grant a permit applied for , or revokes a permit, or when it is claimed that the provisions of any part of the Code do not apply, or that the true intent and meaning of the Code have been misconstrued or- wrongly interpreted, the person or persons aggrieved may appeal the decision of the Fire Marshal to the City Council within 30 days after the date of the decision appealed. Section 350 : 80. Penalty. Violation of any provision of this Ordinance or the Code herein adopted or any regulation or standard referred to therein, or any order made pursuant thereto, is a penal offense, and any person guilty of such violation shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as set forth in Chapter XI of the 1973 Code of Ordinances of the City • of. St. Anthony. The imposition of .a penalty for violation shall not excuse the violation or permit it to continue; and all violators shall be required to correct or remedy such violations or defects within a reasonable period of time and when such time period is not specified, each 10 days that prohibited conditions are maintained shall constitute a separate offense. Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective as of its date of publication.
