ANTHONY <br /> ORDINANCE 1984 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO GAMBLING DEVICES AND RAFFLES; <br /> AMENDING SECTIONS 445 : 00 through 445 : 35 <br /> OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED <br /> The City Council of the City of St . Anthony hereby ordains <br /> as follows : <br /> Section 1 . Section 445 : 00 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 445 : 00 . Adoption of State Statutes . Minnesota <br /> Statutes , Chapter 349, as amended from time to <br /> time, is hereby adopted by reference as the City ' s <br /> regulations regarding the game called "Bingo" and <br /> regarding "Gambling Devices" as defined in Minnesota <br /> Statutes , Section 349 . 26, Subdivision 2 . <br /> Section 2 . , Section 445 : 05 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows . <br /> Section 2 . License Required. No person shall <br /> conduct a bingo occasion , operate gambling devices <br /> or conduct raffles except an eligible organization <br /> which has secured from the City a license for that <br /> purpose . <br /> Section 3 . Section 445 : 10 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 3 . Eligible Organizations and Duration <br /> of Licenses . Licenses for bingo may be issued <br /> only to fraternal , religious, veterans, or other <br /> nonprofit organizations . License for gambling <br /> devices and raffles -may be issued only to the <br /> organizations authorized by Minnesotsa Statutes, <br /> Section 349 . 26, Subd.. 9 and shall be issued subject <br /> to all other provisions of said Section 349 . 26 . <br /> All licenses shall expire on the earlier of a date <br /> 12 months after the date of issuance or March 1, <br /> 1985 . <br /> Section 4 . Section 445 : 15 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances <br /> is amended to read as follows : <br />
