(BFI) <br /> 9 Vasko Rubbish Removal , Inc. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Councilmember Marks commented on a contractor who had a very large amount <br /> 12 of rubbish at the building site during construction. He felt this situation <br /> 13 was intolerable and should be avoidable. He suggested the Council establish <br /> 14 some performance criteria for contractors. If this criteria is not met Council - <br /> 15 member Marks felt the contractor' s license should be withdrawn. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Councilmember Makowske inquired if a precedent had been set for this type of <br /> 18 action on the part of the Council . The City Attorney advised that the City of <br /> 19 Plymouth has this policy. Staff was requested to pursue this matter. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Councilmember Makowske inquired if the location of the cigarette machine at <br /> 22 Murphy's Service Center is known. Councilmember Enrooth advised that the <br /> 23 machine is located inside of the building in close proximity to the owner's <br /> 24 desk. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 27 <br /> 28 5• CLAIMS <br /> 29 <br /> 30 A. Verified <br /> 31 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve payment of the Liquor <br /> 32 Accounts Payable dated January 31 , 1990• <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Councilmember Makowske inquired as to the nature of Check #04468 to <br /> 35 Tangueray Investments in the amount of $87.40. The City Manager said <br /> 36 this was for a promotion at the Stonehouse by the Liquor Operations <br /> 37 Manager. <br /> 38 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 40 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve payment of the City's <br /> 41 Accounts Payable dated December 31 , 1989. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Councilmember Makowske inquired what the payment of Check #06689 to <br /> 44 Standard Sidewalk involved. The City Manager advised this is for the <br /> 45 sidewalk installed at Kenzie Terrace and will be reimbursable. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 48 <br /> 49 B. Hance & LeVahn, Ltd. <br /> 50 Motion by Enrooth, second by Makowske to approve payment of $2,400.00 <br />
