Quotes for 1990 Water Products <br /> 10 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to accept bid from Davies Water Equipment <br /> 11 for parts and supplies for the Water Department with the exception of the <br /> 12 purchase of the water meters. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 15 <br /> 16 H. Quotes for 1990 Road Materials <br /> 17 Councilmember Makowske inquired why only one bid was received. It was apparent <br /> 18 that companies who would have a distance to go to deliver these materials <br /> 19 were not interested in bidding. Delivery adds to the costs. <br /> 20 <br /> 2.1 Motion by Enrooth, second by Makowske to award the bid for 1990 road <br /> 22 materials to those firms as recommended by the Public Works Director in <br /> 23 his memo dated April 2, 1990. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 26 <br /> 27 I . Bids for Wing Plow, Front Side Mount and Reversible Plow <br /> 28 Motion .by Marks, second by Makowske to award the bid for the wing plow and <br /> 29 front mount reversible plow for the new 33,000 gross vehicle weight to <br /> 30 Crysteel Truck and Equipment Company for $9,927.00. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 33 ' <br /> 34 9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The Assistant to the City Manager distributed registration forms for the <br /> 37 League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference to the Councilmembers. She <br /> 38 indicated she will complete the forms for those Councilmembers interested <br /> 39 in attending the Conference. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The City Manager stated there would be a conflict with the first meeting <br /> 42 date of the City Council . It is scheduled for the first day of the LMC <br /> 43 Conference. He suggested it could be changed to June 5th if necessary. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to cancel the June 12, 1990 Council meeting <br /> 46 and reschedule it to June 5, 1990, if it is needed. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 49 <br /> . : 50 <br />
