Resolution No. 90-017, Re: Cable Television <br /> 4 The City Manager reviewed the resolution and explained that the resolution <br /> 5 <br /> 6 is for the preservation of the City' s regulatory authority. <br /> 7 Councilmember Makowske inquired if the City will have to make any changes <br /> 8 to meet the requirements as stated in the resolution. She was advised none <br /> 9 would be necessary. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Motion by Marks, second by Makowske to approve adoption of Resolution No. <br /> 12 90-017, being a resolution urging support for the restoration of local <br /> 13 regulatory authority over cable television systems. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 16 <br /> 17 The City Manager advised that he and his Assistant will be attending an <br /> 18 <br /> 19 upcoming cable meeting. <br /> 20 C. Resolution No. 90-018, Re: Specifying signatures on City financial accounts <br /> 21 Councilmember Makowske recommended that the name of the Mayor Pro-tem Ranallo <br /> 22 be substituted in the body of the -resolution for the name of the Mayor. Her <br /> �3 suggestion is based on the medical problems presently being experienced by <br /> • 24 Mayor Sundland and his absence not keeping him current with City business. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Motion b Marks second b Enrooth to a <br /> 27 y ' y approve adoption of Resolution No. <br /> 28 90-018 with the recommended change. <br /> �9 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 30 <br /> 31 D. Resolution No. 90-016, Re: Fire Department 1990 Labor Agreement <br /> 32 The City Manager explained why there was a delay in settling this contract. <br /> 33 He informed the Council that the agreement adds a four percent increase to <br /> 34 salaries and $10.00 to insurance. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The City Manager is looking into a policy for providing uniforms to the <br /> 37 Fire Deparment personnel . This. will be an item for next year's contract. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Motion by Ranallo, second by Marks to approve;�adoption of Resolution No. <br /> 40 90-016. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 43 <br /> 44 E. Proclamation, Re: VillageFest Days, July 20, 21 , 22, 1990 <br /> 45 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to accept the proclamation for the 1990 <br /> 46 VillageFest days and place on file. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 49 <br /> 50 <br />
