He noted he is still open to suggestions from the Council - <br /> s members. Presently, plans include a conference room for use by the City <br /> 6 Council , the Village Fest Committee, and by other City committees. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 The schedule for the use of this conference room would be kept by the <br /> 9 City Council and by the staff. The City Manager indicated that the remodelling <br /> 10 appears to be relatively affordable. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 The City Manager stated that the watering techniques to be used for this <br /> 13 year are in place and will appear in the next issue of the Bulletin. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 16 <br /> 17 There were no public hearings. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 20 <br /> 21 A. Resolution No. 90-021 : Increase in M.P.C.A. Contract <br /> 22 A memo from the Public Works Director to the City Manager indicated that <br /> 23 the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (M.P.C .A.) has approved the increase <br /> 24 for the renovation of Well #3. The City Manager observed. that it took two <br /> 25 years before the project actually commenced and that cost had increased <br /> 26 $20,000. If the City Council adopts the resolution the Mayor and City Manager <br /> 27 will be authorized to execute an amendment to the contract to rehabilitate <br /> 28 the well . The Public Works Director recommeded adoption of the resolution. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Motion by Ranallo, second by Marks to adopt Resolution No. 90-021 being <br /> 31 a resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to execute the amend- <br /> 32 ment to the contract between the City of St. Anthony and the State of Min- <br /> 33 nesota, Minnesota P.C.A. . <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 36 <br /> 37 <br /> 38 The City Manager advised that the laying of the pipe under the Soo Line <br /> 39 tracks is on schedule. The Soo Line has indicated it does not intend to <br /> 40 grant an easement and there appears to- be some question -as to who actually <br /> 41 owns some of the property in the area. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 The City Manager also stated that the schedule for -the building construction <br /> 44 is about three days behind. It is felt that very soon the crew will be ahead <br /> 45 of schedule. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 9• UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 48 <br /> 49 A. Ordinance No. 1990- Re: Temporary Wine Licenses <br /> 50 A letter was received from Bill Soth, the City Attorney, which addressed <br />
