• Section 310:40 Pow. Every.licensee of a apartment building shall post the current <br /> annual license issued by the City Clerk in a frame with a glass covering in a <br /> conspicuous location in a public corridor, hallway, or lobby of the apartment <br /> building for which it is issued. <br /> Section 310:45 Tenant Register. The licensee shall, as a continuing obligation of its <br /> license, maintain a current register of tenants and other persons who have a lawful <br /> right to occupancy of apartments within the apartment house. In its application, the <br /> licensee shall designate the person or persons who will have possession of the <br /> register; and shall promptly notify the City Manager of any change of the identity, <br /> address or telephone numbers of such persons. The register shall be available for <br /> inspection by the City Manager, or his/her designate, at all times. <br /> Section 310:50 Inspections. <br /> (a) The City Manager and delegated inspectors are hereby authorized to make <br /> inspections reasonably necessary to the enforcement of the City's ordinances, <br /> but at least annually. <br /> (b) All police officers, sanitarians, or health-officers of the City may inspect a <br /> apartment building when requested by the City Manager. <br /> • (c) All persons authorized to inspect shall have the authority to enter, at <br /> reasonable times, any licensed apartment building. <br /> (d) Persons inspecting a apartment building shall notify the licensee of all <br /> violations, if any, by written notice. The notice shall direct compliance in not <br /> less than 15 days, unless extended by the City Manager'for good cause. <br /> Section.310:55 Revocation or Suspension. <br /> (a) Every license issued under this Section 310:00 is subject to the right, which is <br /> hereby expressly reserved, to suspend or revoke the same should the.licensee <br /> or the licensee's agents, employees, representatives or lessees directly or <br /> indirectly operate or maintain a apartment building contrary to the <br /> provisions of state or federal law, this or any other ordinance of the City, or <br /> any permit issued by the City. <br /> (b) A license may be suspended or revoked by the Council after written notice to <br /> the licensee specifying the violations. The notice shall also specify the date <br /> for a hearing before the Council, which shall not be less than 10 days after the <br /> date of the notice. <br /> • -3- <br />
