Scope of Project: <br /> The scope of this project involves the purchase of the property located at 2654 Kenzie Terrace <br /> including the existing building and redeveloping said property for use as a technical /vocational <br /> institute of somatic education. Said project to include the following: <br /> Exterior: <br /> 1. Resurfacing of existing blacktop area of parking lot with stall markings. <br /> 2. Installation of blacktop surface on dirt area of parking lot with stall markings. <br /> 3. Removal of all sign posts. <br /> 4. Removal of all parking area lighting directed away from the building. <br /> 5. Installation of perimeter parking area lighting directed towards the building thus <br /> eliminating illumination of adjoining property. <br /> 6. Removal of existing blacktop surface located between the building and the public <br /> sidewalk on Kenzie Terrace eliminating all motor traffic between the front <br /> entrance to the upper level and the public sidewalk. <br /> 7. Removal of existing stairs and canopy located at the main entrance to the upper <br /> level of the building. - <br /> 8. Back fill-and installation of handicap access ramp extending from the main <br /> entrance of the upper level to the parking area. <br /> 9. Installation of new canopy designed to blend with the surrounding environment. <br /> 10. Installation of rock garden, low ground cover shrubs and 18" hedging between the <br /> building and the public sidewalk on Kenzie Terrace. <br /> 11. Installation of screening along the south side of the parking area to eliminate the <br /> headlights of cars from illuminating adjoining apartments. May include a limited <br /> number of trees along the property line for shade.' <br /> 12. Installation of private garden picnic area at northeast corner of the building to <br /> include privacy fencing for the use of all staff members and students. This area <br /> would not be visible from outside the area. <br /> 13. Installation of an enclosed trash area. <br /> 14. Removal of all loose paint from exterior of the building and repaint either a light <br /> gray or beige to better blend in with the surrounding environment. <br /> 15. Installation of new more modern signs in accordance with local'codes. <br /> 16. Removal of unsightly mounds of dirt and trees in rear of the parking area and <br /> replace with new trees where feasible. <br /> (See drawing located in section two.) <br /> Interior: <br /> Upper level: <br /> 1. Removal of all interior walls, ceilings, bathroom fixtures, bowling lanes, counters, <br /> carpeting,,light fixtures, heating and air conditioners, and etc. <br /> 2. Construction of the following: <br /> 1 Reception/waiting area. <br /> 1 Receptionist/communications center. <br /> 2 Storage rooms. <br /> 1 Student resource center: <br /> 1 General administrative office. <br /> r, ) 2 Prospective student interview rooms. <br /> 4 Private administration offices. <br /> 1 Computer/copy center. <br /> 1 Student lounge. <br />
