DESIGNATE PARK COMMISSIONER TO AUGUST 18, 1998 PLANNING <br /> 5 COMMISSION AND AUGUST 25, 1998 CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS. <br /> 6 Jindra asked whether the schedule for attending Council meetings was agreeable to all <br /> 7 Commission members. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Morris stated he and Koehntop switched dates with each other. <br /> 10 . <br /> 11 Motion by Koehntop, second by Siggelkow to approve the Commission schedule for <br /> 12 attending City Council meetings. <br /> 13 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 14'_ IV. PRESENTATION OF THE PARKS ORDINANCE AND THE PARKS <br /> 15 COMMISSION BY-LAWS. <br /> 16. Jindra stated City Manager Mike Mornson discussed this at last month's meeting. She <br /> 17 then asked for Commission input as to whether the item could be approved or should be <br /> 18 tabled. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Koehntop asked what the procedure should be for a member who cannot attend a <br /> 21 Commission meeting, and whom they should call. Jindra replied that members who <br /> 22 cannot attend meetings should call Public Works Director Hartman. Hartman stated he <br /> 23 can be reached at the City office before 3:30 p.m., or they can call him directly at 706- <br /> 24 1322. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Lambrecht asked how the minutes should address the Harding residents who attended the <br /> 27 last meeting. She suggested calling them St. Anthony Village citizens. Jindra replied <br /> 28 that they should be addressed as community residents for now. She then asked if the <br /> 29 Commission wished to approve the Parks Ordinance. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Kosciolek asked for the procedure on amending by-laws, and whether a quorum is <br /> 32 required. Jindra answered that the Commission can decide this as the process continues. <br /> 33 She then stated that under "Other Business," new members would be updated as to what <br /> 34 has taken place with the Commission so far. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Motion by Koehntop, second by Siggelkow to approve the Parks Commission By-Laws. <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • <br />
