Silver Lake Homeowners Association
St. Anthony MN
. July 21, 1998
Page 2
6. . A storm sewer system maintenance program needs to be developed for the Silver Lake
• Watershed:
7. The City needs to develop an implementation plan for water quality improvements within
the Silver.Lake Watershed. This plan should not be entirely contingent upon redevelopment
occurring within the watershed and should ensure that all areas of the City tributary to Silver
Lake are in compliance with the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) water quality
requirements.
8. The City needs to authorize the formation of a Silver Lake Water Quality Task Force.
In an effort to provide the Silver Lake Homeowners Association adequate time to review the City's
Comprehensive Water Resource Management Plan and to express any additional concerns you may
have which are not expressed above, I have asked the City Council to delay their adoption of the
Comprehensive Water Resource Management Plan until August 11, 1998. This should provide you
with time to make additional comments and recommendations for specific changes to the Plan which
may fully address your concerns. Please provide your comments and recommendations in written
form by July 29, 1998. This will allow adequate time to modify the Comprehensive Water Resource
. Management Plan prior to the August 1 Vh meeting.
I look forward to reading your comments and have appreciated your interest in making the City's
plan a dynamic working document. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
at 541-4800.
Sincerely,
WSB &Associates,Inc.
Todd E..Hubmer,P.E.
Project Engineer
c: Mike Mornson, City of St. Anthony
rim
F.•1 fYPOW 1063.001072198-slha
