Resolution 00-090 re: Granting Property Tax Abatement for Village Townhomes (Hen- <br /> 7 nepin County). <br /> 8 City Manager Michael Mornson noted that this is the issue that a public hearing was held at the <br /> 9. joint meeting of the City Council and School Board. This resolution will provide the City with <br /> 10 the opportunity to begin the abatement process. <br /> 11 Motion by Sparks to approved Resolution 00-090, a Resolution Relating to a Tax Abatement by <br /> 12 the City on Certain Property Located Within the City and in Hennepin County; Granting the <br /> 13 Abatement. <br /> 14 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 15 B. Resolution 00-091 re Granting Property Tax Abatement for Evergreen Townhomes <br /> 16 (Ramsey County). <br /> 17 Motion by Sparks to approve Resolution 00-091, a Resolution Relating to a Tax Abatement by <br /> 18 the City on Certain Property Located Within the City and in :Ramsey County, Granting the <br /> 19 Abatement. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 C. Resolution 00-083 re: Final Plat for Apache Terrace 2 11 Addition. <br /> 22 City Manager Michael Mornson reviewed for the Council the background of the Apache Terrace <br /> 23 2nd Addition which is being proposed by Village North,LLP and Apache Animal Medicine P.A. <br /> 24 Mornson directed the Council's attention to page 25 of the.agenda packets, which is a letter.from <br /> 25 City Attorney William Soth dated November 9, 2000. <br /> 26 City Attorney Soth reiterated for the Council his comments on the proposal, and summarized by <br /> 27 stating that the owners of the Animal Clinic had hoped to include a portion of the railroad right <br /> 28 of way in Lot 1. However, delays have been experienced in establishing good title to the right of <br /> 29 way. For this reason, the railroad property has been left out of the plat and will need to be com- <br /> 30 bined with Lot 1 at a later date. Mr. Soth assured the Council that this combination could be ac- <br /> 31 complished with a simple document to be recorded in the real estate records, and at that time, it <br /> 32 would not be necessary to replat the property. <br />
