August 21, 2001 <br /> Honorable Mayor, City Council and City Staff <br /> City of St. Anthony <br /> 3301 Silver Lake Road <br /> St. Anthony, MN 55418 <br /> Re: Engineer's Report for August 28, 2001 <br /> WSB Project No. 1065-01 <br /> Dear Honorable Mayor, City Council and City Staff: <br /> This letter is intended to provide you with an update on the current status of projects that are <br /> ongoing within the Village. Outlined below, please find a list of the projects and the current <br /> status of each: <br /> I. 291h Avenue Street Reconstruction <br /> 29th Avenue Street Reconstruction is substantially complete. Items remaining to be <br /> completed are new sign installation, street striping, concrete crosswalks and sod <br /> repair. <br /> II. 2001 Street Reconstruction <br /> New storm sewer, watermain and sanitary sewer repairs are complete on Wilson <br /> Street and West Armor Terrace. Curb installation was completed on Wilson Street <br /> and West Armor Terrace during the week of August 201h and we anticipate that <br /> asphalt will follow on or around the first week of September. Upon completing the <br /> excavation of the ponding area at Harding Street, 30`h Avenue work will be <br /> completed from the construction entrance to Silver Lake Road. The contractor is <br /> currently running about 2 % weeks behind schedule due to rain delays. <br /> III. Harding Street Pond <br /> Construction on the ponding area is nearing completion. The tunneling of the 66- <br /> inch RC pipe from the pond to 31St Avenue and the stone retaining wall work is <br /> complete. Excavation will continue for approximately the next two weeks, and <br /> planting will begin upon completion of tLie excavation. We anticipate the pond work <br /> will be completed on or around the middle of October. <br /> 4150 Olson IV. 2002 Street Reconstruction and Feasibility Study <br /> Memorial Highway A neighborhood meeting to discuss the 2002 street reconstruction schedule, proposed <br /> e 300 improvements, and to answer questions has been scheduled for September 12`h at <br /> nneapolis 7:00 p.m. in the Council chambers. The feasibility report is anticipated to be <br /> Minnesota presented to Council on September 25`h and include a discussion on additional costs <br /> 55422 for undergrounding of electricity, cable television and power lines as directed by the <br /> 763-541-4800 <br /> 763.541.1700 FAX Minneapolis .
