T 1 <br /> 30 <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: April 11, 2.003 <br /> TO: Michael Momson, City Manager <br /> FROM: Connie Kroeplin, City Clerk <br /> SUBJECT: MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING-LOCAL ELECTIONS <br /> For the last several years, the City has conducted all the local elections (i.e., City Council and <br /> School Board). Those elections are held every odd-numbered year. The attached Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the City and School District spells out the arrangement and must be <br /> agreed upon by both parties. <br /> This year, the School Board will have three seats to fill and the City will have four seats open. <br /> The School District will reimburse the City for 50%of the total non-fixed costs. <br /> The Memorandum of Understanding has been approved by the School Board at their April <br /> meeting.. <br />
