Ramsey County has the following comments regarding access and traffic flow. I. Ramsey County is in agreement with the proposed access configuration on Silver Lake Road. This includes closing the two existing access points and constructing a new right in/right out access to Silver Lake Road immediately north of the existing northern access point. 2. An existing catch basin is in place on Silver Lake Road where the new driveway is proposed. This catch basin will need to be relocated to the north. You may wish to consider shifting the driveway slightly to the south in order to avoid this catch basin. 3. The County is still in the process of completing the construction of the bridge north of this site. This will include median installation, bituminous overlay and restoration next spring. We will coordinate our work with the development of this site to avoid any possible duplication of efforts. 4. An access permit from Ramsey County will be required. We would prefer if the developer rather than the contractor acquired this permit.
