Reports-3a STATUS Informational • MEMORANDUM DATE: June 4 , 1982 TO: Dave Childs , City Manager Department Heads Ron Berg, Administrative Assistant FROM: Connie Kroeplin , Secretary SUBJECT: Staff Meeting Notes - June 2 , 1982 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting opened at 10 : 05 A.M. - Those present were : Larry Hamer, Dave Childs , Connie Kroeplin, Carol Johnson, Ray Nelson, Lee Entner, Ron Berg, and Don Hickerson. No one was absent. The meeting began with an enumeration of the items which will be on the Council' s June 8th agenda. They are: Cl) Continuation of the Board of Review. (2) Second reading on Body Tanning Salon ordinance. 0) Amend Years V and VI - CDBG program. • (4) Selection of a management services consultant for the Kenzie Terrace ..H.R.A. (.5) Report on the chipping program. Mr. Childs then opened discussions on the City employees ' family picnic, which will be held rain or shine on Sunday , June 27th , beginning at 2 : 30 P.M. This , plus other, pertinent information was distributed to the City Council , all City employees (full and part time) , all City Commission members and the City Attorney. Mr. Childs indicated the Council members will grill the hamburgers and hot dogs and other duties were delegated to: Carol Johnson - food and advertising Ray Nelson '- beverages (adults and children) Lee Entner and Don Hickerson - games . Larry Hamer - grounds Dave Childs - program Carol Johnson. must set up a new precinct due to the legislative re- districting. The new precinct will include only 51 registered voters who will vote at the Wilshire Elementary School. Mrs . Johnson is awaiting a letter confirming this and will have the necessary resolu- tions for the June 22nd Council agenda. • Ray Nelson has investigated the liquor stores ' telephone circuit line and found it had been disconnected in 1974 . However, it appears the .City is still paying for this line . Mr. Nelson is awaiting more infor- mation from the telephone company on this matter.
