Reports-3a <br /> STATUS Informational <br /> • MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: June 4 , 1982 <br /> TO: Dave Childs , City Manager <br /> Department Heads <br /> Ron Berg, Administrative Assistant <br /> FROM: Connie Kroeplin , Secretary <br /> SUBJECT: Staff Meeting Notes - June 2 , 1982 <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The meeting opened at 10 : 05 A.M. - Those present were : Larry Hamer, <br /> Dave Childs , Connie Kroeplin, Carol Johnson, Ray Nelson, Lee Entner, <br /> Ron Berg, and Don Hickerson. No one was absent. <br /> The meeting began with an enumeration of the items which will be on <br /> the Council' s June 8th agenda. They are: <br /> Cl) Continuation of the Board of Review. <br /> (2) Second reading on Body Tanning Salon ordinance. <br /> 0) Amend Years V and VI - CDBG program. <br /> • (4) Selection of a management services consultant for the Kenzie <br /> Terrace ..H.R.A. <br /> (.5) Report on the chipping program. <br /> Mr. Childs then opened discussions on the City employees ' family <br /> picnic, which will be held rain or shine on Sunday , June 27th , <br /> beginning at 2 : 30 P.M. This , plus other, pertinent information was <br /> distributed to the City Council , all City employees (full and part <br /> time) , all City Commission members and the City Attorney. Mr. Childs <br /> indicated the Council members will grill the hamburgers and hot dogs <br /> and other duties were delegated to: <br /> Carol Johnson - food and advertising <br /> Ray Nelson '- beverages (adults and children) <br /> Lee Entner and Don Hickerson - games . <br /> Larry Hamer - grounds <br /> Dave Childs - program <br /> Carol Johnson. must set up a new precinct due to the legislative re- <br /> districting. The new precinct will include only 51 registered voters <br /> who will vote at the Wilshire Elementary School. Mrs . Johnson is <br /> awaiting a letter confirming this and will have the necessary resolu- <br /> tions for the June 22nd Council agenda. <br /> • Ray Nelson has investigated the liquor stores ' telephone circuit line <br /> and found it had been disconnected in 1974 . However, it appears the <br /> .City is still paying for this line . Mr. Nelson is awaiting more infor- <br /> mation from the telephone company on this matter. <br />
