- 2 - <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Manager confirmed that beer would not be sold at the LeDoux's Corner softball <br /> tournament. <br /> Motion by Mayor Sundland and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to grant temporary., 3.2 <br /> beer permits for the consumption, not sale, of beer to the following: <br /> Carl Bragger, 3604 33rd Avenue N.E. , for the Village Originals picnic to be held in <br /> the Central Pavillion from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. , September 8, 1984. <br /> Patricia Fagerlee, 3407 Croft Drive, for a family picnic to be held in Central Park <br /> from noon to 9:OO p.m. , July 21, 1984 <br /> s <br /> Thomas Brama, 2905 Silver Lake Court, for the LeDoux's Corner N.E. softball tourna- <br /> ment to be held in Central Park from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. , August 11 and 12, 1984. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Ave: Sundland, Ranallo, Enrooth, and Makowske. <br /> Nay: Marks. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to approve payment <br /> of all verified claims listed for June 26, 1984 in the Council agenda of the same <br /> • date. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. y: <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to approve payments <br /> Of $5,386.50 to the East Bethel Landfill for tornado debris disposal and $1,406.00 <br /> to the Association of ;•Zetropolitan Municipalities for 1984-85 dues. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 5i <br /> 1: <br /> The Mayor presented the picture album developed for the City of St. Anthony by the g <br /> Hennepin County Sheriff's Office which he perceived would be the official document <br /> for the City of the April 26 tornado. He said over 70 rolls of film had been <br /> developed by the Crime Lab for the album and the consensus was that a valuable <br /> document such as this should not be taken out of the City Hall. <br /> Mayor Sundland also presented the plaque from the St. Anthony Kiwanis Club which <br /> commended the City Council• and staff for the actions they had taken to aid the <br /> community when the tornado struck. : <br /> Councilmen Makowske and Enrooth commented on the League of Minnesota.Cities Conference <br /> in Duluth June 12-15 which they perceived to be of personal benefit to- them.' <br /> Councilman Enrooth stated he would be discussing some of the ideas he had derived ' <br /> with the City Manager. <br /> A letter from a resident expressing ,concern about the reliability of garbage .pickup <br /> r had been sent to the Mayor and Councilman Makowske and referred to Waste Management, 4 <br /> Inc. The Mayor indicated he was,-very pleased with the response that .company had <br /> made to that resident, indicating.they:.would. be adding two more trucks-to -service, <br /> the-City-so City residents•can* be. assured of. a pickup on the day it is,.scheduled;.'. .-. <br /> t' <br />
