Anthony Merchants <br /> 8 Association which indicated they would like an additional <br /> 9 monument sign for the Kenzie Terrace entrance and a larger <br /> 10 monument sign where the current one is in place . They had also <br /> 11 had questions regarding the prohibition for franchise <br /> 12 trademark signs for some commercial establishments . Examples <br /> 13 given were Dairy Queen and Kentucky Fried Chicken . Urbia <br /> 14 explained that some of those signs would be too large or are <br /> 15 not in character with the City ' s intent in the sign ordinance . <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Urbia distributed a fax. received from Rodney Johnson, real <br /> 18 estate manager, addressing some of his specific. concerns with <br /> 19 the proposed sign ordinance. Urbia also passed out copies of <br /> 20 survey results received from six other cities and their sign <br /> 21 ordinance requirements regarding billboards , wall signs , free <br /> 22 standing signs , portable signs , temporary signs , campaign <br /> 23 signs and sign construction . <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Motion by Franzese , second by Faust to move this item to the <br /> 26 agenda of the next Planning Commission meeting. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 •29 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 E. All members of the Planning Commission agreed with <br /> 48 this suggestion . <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Commissioner Gondorchin recommended the joint meeting be held <br /> 51 on before a regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting at <br /> 52 6 : 30 p .m. <br /> 53 •54 <br />
