Review Housina Maintenance Ordinance - Draft #3 , April <br /> 8 30 , 1992 <br /> 9 <br /> 10 At the May 4th meeting of the Planning Commission Urbia <br /> 11 requested input from members of the Commission regarding any <br /> 12 additions to the draft ordinance . He received one response <br /> 13 from Commissioner Thompson for the inclusion of compost piles . <br /> 14 Also received was a request from the City Manager of language <br /> 15 regarding inspection (visual and/or smoking house ) at point of <br /> 16 sale of sump pumps and drain tiles to insure they are not <br /> 17 connected to the sanitary sewer system. The City Manager also <br /> 18 requested some form of language encouraging the installation <br /> 19 of check valves (auto and/or manual ) in homes that have <br /> 20 experienced back up problems . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 There were eighteen pages in the draft ordinance . The Chairman <br /> 23 suggested each page be reviewed by the Planning Commission for <br /> 24 comment . Some of the issues addressed in the review covered <br /> 25 gender neutrality, dwelling versus dwelling unit , point of <br /> 26 sale inspections and enforcement of the ordinance. All <br /> 27 comments made by members of the Planning Commission were noted <br /> and will be incorporated into the draft ordinance by the <br /> Management Assistant for Council review. A copy of the draft <br /> 30 ordinance will be included in the July edition of the City <br /> 31 newsletter . <br /> 32 <br /> 33 <br /> 34 D. Review Proposed Sion Ordinance Chanaes - Draft #2 , May <br /> 35 27 , 1992 <br /> 36 <br /> 37 A first draft of the proposed sign ordinance was presented to <br /> 38 the Planning Commission in April . A subcommittee was <br /> 39 established by the Planning Commission consisting of Chairman <br /> 40 Faust , Commissioner Franzese , Councilmember Wagner and <br /> 41 Management Assistant Urbia . The subcommittee met once and the <br /> 42 suggestions which came from that meeting were incorporated <br /> 43 into the ordinance for review by the Planning Commission at <br /> 44 its June meeting . <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Five issues addressed by the subcommittee required the opinion <br /> 47 of the City Attorney . Staff is waiting for those opinions . <br /> 48 <br /> 49 A copy of the proposed ordinance were sent to the President of <br /> 50 the St . Anthony Chamber of Commerce , Apache Plaza Management , <br /> 51 the President of the Apache Plaza Merchants Association , the <br /> 52 President of the St . Anthony Merchants Association and the St . <br /> Anthony Shopping Center Management for input .. <br />
