The City may provide one vehicle to be clearly marked "St. Anthony Police <br /> Reserve" for use in patrolling parks, public relations/crime prevention activities, <br /> crowd control, and other activities as designated by the Chief of Police. <br /> Vehicle use is subject to the following rules and regulations: <br /> ...................................................... <br /> a. The Reserve vehicle will not attempt traffic stops; <br /> d. In event of emergency calls, the Reserve.vehicle will respond routinely, <br /> obeying all traffic laws, except when directed by the Officer on duty or <br /> a Police supervisor; <br /> d. The Reserve vehicle may perform house and business checks and patrol <br /> parks; <br /> e. Any vehicle maintenance problems must be reported at the end of the <br /> shift, and the vehicle gassed and oil checked; <br /> f. The Reserve vehicle will report to the Police Officer on duty once each <br /> hour; <br /> 9. The Reserve vehicle shall not respond to any felony-in-progress call; <br /> h. The vehicle is to be checked in and out through a Captain or Police <br /> Officer of the St. Anthony Police Department. Arrangements are to be <br /> made at least four hours before scheduled duty and the use of the <br /> vehicle; <br /> i. No Reserve Officer is to retain keys to the Reserve vehicle without the <br /> permission of the Chief of Police, or to use it for non-authorized <br /> purposes; <br /> i. The minimum patrol period for one Officer is two hours; the maximum <br /> is eight hours in a given day; and <br /> k. The vehicle is not to leave the City unless authorized by a regular Police <br /> Officer or Captain in charge. <br />
