City of St. Anthony <br /> Police Reserve Bylaws <br /> Page 6 <br /> Article V - Conduct: <br /> Violations of the following nature shall subject Reserve Officers to disciplinary action <br /> under Article VII - Discipline: <br /> 1 . Drinking an intoxicating beverage or using non-prescribed mind-altering drug <br /> while on duty or up to four hours beforehand. <br /> 2. Immoral conduct while on duty. <br /> 3. Actions detrimental to the reputation of the Reserve Unit, Police Department, <br /> or the City. <br /> 4. Violation of a criminal law. <br /> 5. Insubordination to the rank or request of a commanding Reserve or. regular <br /> Police Officer, or to a City Official, when a supervisory officer is not present or <br /> when-not under the work direction of a supervisory officer. <br /> 6. Disrespectful or profane language or public criticisms of the department. <br /> 7. Misuse or abuse of position. <br /> 8. Sleeping or other evidence of inefficient performance while on duty, such as <br /> loafing, recreational reading, conducting private business or gambling.. <br /> 9. Release of information to the public, except as authorized by a police <br /> supervisor, or a confidential nature, including informants, witnesses, and <br /> investigation report. <br /> 10. The soliciting or accepting of any gratuity. <br /> 11 . Recommending any attorney or bail bond broker or acting as a bailor, except <br /> relatives. <br /> 12. Identifying themselves as Police Officers or Peace Officer. in any way. <br /> Article VI - Discipline: <br /> A person who is guilty of a conduct violation as contained in Article V - Conduct, or <br /> non-performance as contained in Article IX - Performance, shall be subject to <br /> disciplinary action under this article. <br />
