City of St. Anthony Council Minutes June 14, 1994 Page 11 1 discovered that the corrections made on the minutes were not made at 2 the following meeting. Fleming said that for the record, the corrections 3 for the February 19th minutes should read: 4 5 Page 1, line 37 Insert "Special" before "Council" 6 Page 1, line 39 Replace "Regular" with "Special" 7 Page 2, line 16 Replace "Motion carried unanimously" with 8 "Voting on the Motion: 9 Aye: Ranallo, Wagner, Enrooth 10 Nay: Fleming 11 Motion carried." 12 13 Corrections for the March 1, 1994 meeting should read: 14 15 Page 1, line 30 Add "of$11,000.00" to end of sentence. 16 17 These corrections were on the tape but not in the typewritten meeting 18 minutes. Fleming stated that the last correction on the March.1, 1994 41 minutes was the $11,000.00 the Brimeyer Group was going to charge for the City Manager search at the time. At that meeting Fleming 21 questioned the charge and now feels that fact should be a matter of 22 record. The Council agreed. Fleming explained that at the meeting, 23 Judy Makowske gave the report for the newly-formed HEART group. 24 Makowske had talked about funding for the group. There somehow 25 occurred a misunderstanding by some individuals that funds for HEART 26 would come from tax dollars. Fleming stressed that it was never printed 27 nor said any time during the meeting that tax dollars would be sought 28 by HEART, but rather to possibly approach a Hennepin County 29 organization that offers assistance and advise on grants or private 30 funding for a group like HEART. 31 32 Councilmember Enrooth stated that the Council cannot correct minutes 33 which have already been approved. However, he said if Fleming wants 34 to correct a misconception or misinterpretation, it can be addressed and 35 made part of the record of that meeting. Fleming expressed her desire 36 for the preceding discussion regarding the HEART group be a matter of 37 record in the minutes of June 14, 1994. 38 39 Council consensus was that the Council will, in the future, keep track of their corrections to the minutes making sure the corrections are entered properly when they are approved, usually at the following meeting.
