It is my <br /> understanding that the employer in question is inclined to pay • <br /> only the difference between the employee's military pay and his <br /> salary. The statute and case law in this area seems to make it <br /> clear that an employer is obligated to pay complete salary, <br /> notwithstanding the fact that the employee may receive <br /> supplemental military pay. I believe it has been understood in <br /> the cases addressing employer' s obligation in this area that, in <br /> receiving full pay from his employer, the employee may be <br /> receiving supplemental benefit from his or her military duty.
