September 10 , 1997 <br /> St. Anthony Stormwater Management Task.:-Force Sub-committee Report <br /> Mission Statement : <br /> The sub-committee , as appointed by the task force , is responsible for <br /> recommending to the full task force the best workable options available to <br /> arrive at a short term solution to the July 1 flood . The sub-committee' s <br /> duties are to determine the best methods to provide one time emergency <br /> relief and assistance to those citizens affected by the 'f1ood both <br /> financially and thru abatement , to determine possible short-term water <br /> corol solutions , and to determine appropriate financing for these methods <br /> and controls. <br /> 1 . Residents eligible to receive funding . Emergency relief and assistance <br /> will be provided to those residents , both citizens and commercial property <br /> owners, affected by the July 1 , 1997 flood . This funding will be a one <br /> time event that will apply only to those requesting it in writing by <br /> 4: 30 P.M . - on Friday, October 31 , 1997 . The city staff will post notices at <br /> city hall , in the St . Anthony Bulletin , and by mail to those residents <br /> that have currently been identified as suffering damage from the July 1 <br /> flood . Water damage caused by storm water , sewer backup , and rainwater <br /> will be treated equally for this one time only funding . Those residents <br /> accepting funding will waive their right to sue the city for any damages <br /> deed by the July 1 flood . <br /> 2 . Eligible expenses . Eligible expenses will include both those expenses <br /> paid out of pocket with receipt by those affected by the floods to replace <br />
