Outlined below you will find the items and issues discussed with residents as well as the comments received on each issue. I. Should'29" Avenue be reconstructed from Stinson Boulevard on the west to County Road 88 on the east,or should only the portion necessary for connecting a storm sewer to Silver Point Park be constructed (Wilson Street to Crestview)? Residents had the following comments: • Individuals present from the Roosevelt and 29`h Avenue area requested that the project be extended west to Stinson Boulevard so that storm water improvements at the intersection of Roosevelt and 29'Avenue may be constructed. These residents indicated that flooding occurs in this intersection a number of times each summer. • If the street is going to be reconstructed,the majority of residents indicated the entire street should be constructed at one time. U. Parking Needs Residents offered the following comments regarding the need for parking on 29`"Avenue: • There is a need for parking on 29'Avenue. • The amount of parking required on 29'Avenue may not justify parking on both sides of the street; however, residents are concerned that for those which reside on the parking side of the street, they would constantly have vehicles parked in the front of their property. Also, people would be forced to cross 29'h Avenue at non-intersections to access the homes on the . opposite side of the street.
