ANTHONY <br /> 2 <br /> 3 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MR UTES <br /> 4 <br /> 5 JULY 22, 2003 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 CALL TO ORDER <br /> 8 Mayor Hodson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 11 Mayor Hodson invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 ROLL CALL. <br /> 14 Present: Mayor Hodson; Councilmembers Horst, Sparks, Thuesen, and Faust. <br /> _ 15 Absent: Norte. <br /> 16 Also Present: City Manager Mike Mornson and City Attorney Jerome Gilligan. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br /> 19 ITEMS. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 I. APPROVAL OF JULY 22, 2003, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br /> 22 Motion by Councilmember Faust to approve the City Council Meeting Agenda of July 22, 2003. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br /> 27 The St. Anthony City Council proclaimed Tuesday, August 5, 2003, as the"201h Annual National <br /> 28 Night Out." Councilmember Faust read the Proclamation. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Mayor Hodson noted there were indications the National Night Out would be a big evening. He <br /> 31 stated he was impressed with last year's turnout. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Motion by Councilmember Sparks to approve the Proclamation declaring Tuesday, August 5, <br /> 34 2003, as the "201h Annual National Night Out. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 III. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br /> 39 Mayor Hodson invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items <br /> 40 that were not on the regular agenda. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Rob LeFleur, 3312 Skycroft Drive, came forward and asked when Central Park and Silver Point <br /> 43 Park would be completed and ready for use. City Manager Mornson responded that both Central <br /> 44 Park and Silver Point Park would be available for skating this winter and the fields would be <br /> 45 ready for full use next spring. <br /> 46 <br />
