Although he had promised the City Manager that he would be willing 40 to serve in January if his replacement was not found in time for the Commission 41 hearing, Commissioner Bowerman made the following statement. He said he 42 wanted the other Commissioners to know how much he appreciated their friendliness 43 towards him their enthusiasm and cooperation and "all the fun we've had 44 together over the years." Commissioner Bowerman indicated he would be 45 very sorry to leave the community he had resided in for more than 21- years 46 but did not expect his contact with St. Anthony to end just because he was 47 moving a few miles away. 48 49 Commissioner Madden told Commissioner Bowerman he had learned a lot from 50 him over the two years Commissioner Madden had served on the Commission. 51 Commissioner Hansen said he found it "humbling" to be speaking as the Chair 52 that night and trying to convey the thanks of the other Commission members 53 for the more than ten years of service Commissioner Bowrman had given to 54 the Commission. 55
