Ramsey County League of Local Governments <br /> 19 Motion by Fleming, second by Marks to approve payment in the amount of <br /> 20 $239.85 to the Ramsey County League of Local Governments 1991 membership <br /> 21 dues. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Mayor Ranallo questioned the validity of continued participation in this <br /> 24 organization. Councilmember Marks felt this organization offered many <br /> 25 opportunities for training as did Councilmember Wagner. Councilmember <br /> • 26 Fleming stated this organization could prove to be beneficial in light <br /> 27 of the budget concerns being experienced on the municipal level . <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 30 <br /> 31 - E. Verified Claims <br /> 32 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve the verified claims for the <br /> 33 Liquor Accounts Payable dated January 28, 1991 and February 12, 1991 and <br /> 34 for the Accounts Payable dated February 12, 1991 . <br /> 35 <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 38 <br /> 390 7. REPORTS <br /> 41 a. Cable Commissioner Report <br /> 42 Bill Zawislak represents the City on the Cable Commission. He was appointed <br /> 43 in January of 1991 . <br /> 44 <br /> LS Recently, the cable company serving the City of St. Anthony as- well as <br /> 46 nine other cities, raised the subscriber rates without giving subscribers <br /> 47 the required notice. Zawislak advised that the cable company was sent a <br /> 48 letter by the Cable Commission requesting justification for this increase <br /> 49 and advising the firm of its violation of the franchise agreement regarding <br /> 50 <br /> • <br />
