The City Manager advised that approval from the <br /> 9 St . Anthony City Council' is being waited 'for before . any <br /> 10 investments are made . Various places for investment of <br /> 11 these funds were discussed. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 B. Report of the City Manaaer <br /> 14 <br /> 15 1 . Sianalization of 37ih Avenue <br /> 16 <br /> 17 The City Manager advised that the signalization for 37th <br /> 18 Avenue and Stinson Boulevard is complete. A response from <br /> 19 the Soo Line Railroad is the only reason the signals have <br /> 20 not been activated . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 There is a formal agreement between Hennepin County and <br /> 23 the Soo Line Railroad regarding these signals . Hennepin <br /> 24 County has sent two letters to the Soo Line regarding <br /> 25 signing this agreement and has not received a response. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 2 . December Council Meetina <br /> 28 <br /> 29 At the December 22nd Council Meeting the third reading of <br /> 30 the Recodification ordinance will be held. A public <br /> 31 hearing is also necessary' for this ordinance as it <br /> 32 includes zoning changes . <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The City Manager also noted that the recodification <br /> 35 includes beginning regular Council Meetings at 7 : 00 p.m. <br /> 36 rather than 7 : 30 p .m. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 3 . Meetina With Chief of Police <br /> 39 <br /> 40 The City Manager advised that the Police Chief had <br /> 41 originally planned on being in attendance at this Council <br /> 42 Meeting. He was unable to attend so the City Manager <br /> 43 suggested he meet with the Council at its next work <br /> 44 session or attend the December 22nd Council Meeting. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 4 . City. Manacier ' s Review <br /> 48 Mayor Ranallo and Councilmember Marks will meet on <br /> 49 December lst to complete the City Manager ' s review. There <br /> 50 will be no Council. work session on that date. <br />
