December 4, 1992
To: Tom Burt, Manager
St. Anthony Village
From: Doug & Nancy Tanner
2206 St. Anthony Parkway
Minneapolis, MN 55418
Owners of double bungalow located at:
2612/14 - 37th Avenue N.E.
St. Anthony Village, MN 55421
Per our conversation of 12/4/92, 1 am submitting the following project for
concept review:
To build a single family home on the south 100 ft. by 65 ft. of
existing property I own identified as District 94, Plat 63600, Parcel
3831.
The enclosed plans reflect the positioning of the single family home
that to my knowledge meets the building code offset with the exception
that the total lot square footage is not within code.
Cosmetically, I feel this house fits in very well with the
neighborhood. If approved, this property would contribute to the tax
structure of St. Anthony Village. It would be my intent to build on
this sight a home for my youngest daughter who currently lives in the
duplex at 2614 - 37th Avenue that I own.
While I take great pride in the property at 2612/14 - 37th Avenue
(i .e. , I just had it painted this year and have done extensive
landscaping in the last 5 years), the lot is very large and requires
considerable expense to keep it maintained. Through subdivision, the
lots would still be very nice, however, they would be much easier to
maintain.
For the reasons stated above, I am respectfully submitting for your review
the proposal to subdivide this parcel of land. Thank you for your
consideration and time.
Doug A Nancy Tanner
781-6393 (home)
635-5312 (work)
