Subd. 22. Rental Unit. A dwelling or dwelling unit let for rent or lease. <br /> Subd. 23. Repair. To restore to a sound and acceptable state of operation, <br /> serviceability or appearance. . <br /> Subd. 24. Rodent Harborage. Any place where rodents can live, nest or seek <br /> shelter. <br /> Subd. 25. Rooming Unit. Any room or group of rooms forming a single <br /> habitable unit used or intended to be used for living and sleeping,,but not for <br /> cooking and eating purposes. <br /> Subd. 26. Safety. The condition of being reasonably free from danger and <br /> hazards which may cause accidents or disease. <br /> Subd. 27. Supplied. Paid, furnished or provided by, or under the control of, <br /> 'an owner or operator. <br /> Subd. 28. Interpretation. Whenever the words "dwelling", "dwelling unit", <br /> "premises, or 'structure" are used in this Section 1335, they will be deemed to <br /> be followed by the words "or any part thereof'. <br /> Section 1335.04 Responsibilities of Owners and Occupants. No owner or other <br /> person may occupy or let to another person any dwelling, unless it and the premises <br /> are clean, sanitary, fit for human occupancy, and comply with all applicable <br /> requirements of the City Code and state and federal laws and regulations. <br /> Section 1335.05 Shared Areas. Every owner of a dwelling containing two or more <br /> dwelling units must maintain the shared or public areas of the dwelling and . <br /> premises in a clean and sanitary condition. <br /> Section 1335.06 Occupied Areas. Every occupant must maintain those portions of <br /> the dwelling and premises he or she occupies in a clean and sanitary condition.- . <br /> Section 1335.07 Refuse and Recyclables. Every occupant must store and dispose of <br /> or recycle all refuse any recyclables in a clean, sanitary and safe manner as prescribed <br /> by City ordinances. Every owner of an apartment building must supply facilities for <br /> the sanitary and safe storage and/or disposal or recycling or refuse and recyclables. <br /> The storage of refuse and recyclable collection items may not be kept in the front <br /> yard setback. <br /> Section 1335.08 Storage of Wood. Wood used for fireplaces must be stacked in a <br /> location other than the front yard setback. <br /> 13-18 <br />
